I do feel the need to briefly mention that I didn’t mean to have a second Nalini Singh month in December, but I was so busy with Christmas presents and preparation that I ended up just re-reading old books instead of seeking out anything new again. Very similar to November, for similar reasons. Now on to the more interesting yearly overview and stats.

I only read eighteen new books this year, which is less than I’d like. Only one and a half new books a month. That being said, I re-read fifty-eight books, for a total of seventy-six books. My goal was to read one a week, so I well and truly did that.

Next year I hope to read fifty-two books, and for more of them to be new, and reviewed. I didn’t do as many reviews this year, but as most of my reading was re-reading old books, I don’t mind that as much. If any of you did reading challenges, let me know how it went. I think keeping track of my reding is fun, and I like to see what it adds up to over the course of twelve months.
