Reading Recap August 2021

I got more reading done than I expected to in August, but it all happened in the first two weeks or so, before the move got on top of me and I stopped reading. Once again, all of the books were mine, and this time, none of them were new reads either, so I’ll just be listing the title, author and series; along with any observations about my reading habits last month. I’ll also link any relevant reviews.

Night Lost (Darkyn #4) by Lynn Viehl
Evermore (Darkyn #5) by Lynn Viehl
Twilight Fall (Darkyn #6) by Lynn Viehl
Stay the Night (Darkyn #7) by Lynn Viehl
Written in Red (The Others #1) by Anne Bishop
Murder of Crows (The Others #2) by Anne Bishop
Vision in Silver (The Others #3) by Anne Bishop

It’s pretty easy to figure out that I was re-reading old series that I enjoyed, and trusted to be entertaining, because I was too focussed on other stuff to have room to focus on a new book or series. It was fun to re-read series I hadn’t read in a while, and I enjoyed the social messages in The Others series.

August was not an interesting month as far as my reading was concerned, but now that I’m moved, I should hopefully be able to read some of the new books I bought myself for my birthday, and I have a review book as well that sounds interesting.
