100th Post/Reading Challenge Update/NaNo plans

In case you didn’t guess from the title, this is the hundredth post I’ve published on my blog, and I’m surprised at how quickly this seemed to come about. I think I’ve increased the speed and clarity of my writing, I’ve noticed trends in my reading that I wouldn’t have guessed before I began reviewing most of the books I read, and in general, I’ve enjoyed the experience. If you’ve signed up for updates, thank you! I didn’t really expect anyone to read my rambles and review when I started this, but it’s nice to know that some people enjoy my writing. As a reward for sticking around, have this unexpectedly glamourous photo I took of my mum’s cat.

His name is Sylvester, and he is very fat. His is also peeking at the camera from one eye in a sneaky, endearing fashion in this photo. You’re welcome

Reading Challenge Update

I meant to write and post this at the end of September, but forgot, so here we are!

I’ve currently read about 42 of the 50 books I wanted to read this year, and reviewed 40 of them for this blog. So the additional goal (which I added as some point for very little reason, other than to see if I could) of reviewing every book that I read also is also chugging along nicely. We’ll see how I go when NaNoWriMo rolls around, I’m going to try and revise and finish off the novel I’ve already written as this year’s goal, because even though it’s not as fun as writing something new, it’s a far more practical use of my time.

Let me know how you’re going on your reading challenges, if you decided to partake in one; or if you’re going to make a writing goal for National Novel Writing Month.
